About US!

Milford and Edith first met in the fall of 1923 in Grandpa Lowe's apple orchard. Milford had traveled to
Cache Valley from Bear Lake with friend, Bill. During this trip Milford told Bill that he would find his
bride. And that he did. Although Edith wasn't interested in Milford at that time, they wrote to each other.
Over the next two years they corresponded and Milford made trips over the mountain to visit and court
Edith.

In December 1924 when Milford was visiting the Lowe household at this Christmas time, he asked the
inevitable question and Edith responded in a positive manner. Jun 10 1925 they were sealed together for
time and all eternity in the Logan Temple.

Together they had 8 children: Ned (1926), Carol (1928), Thelma (1932), LaVon (1936), Marie (1939),
twins, Earl & Verl (1945), and Gwen (1947)

SURPRISE! We're having a Law Family Reunion!

Greetings Family,

Our last family gathering was under very sad circumstances and since a few of us cousins have gotten
together and decided it was time to have a family reunion so our families could see each other and our
children could get to know each other.

We realize this is a VERY large undertaking, however we feel that FAMILY is more important and if we
can all work together to preserve our heritage, this will work! :o) If you are available and willing to help,
we'd love that help.

Details:
1st – It’s a SURPRISE!
We would like this to be a surprise to the siblings - Ned, Carol, Thelma, LaVon, Marie...etc. Between us
I think we can keep them out of the loop and when the time comes we can just let them know we'd like to
do an activity with them and invite them to come to a family gathering.

2nd – Location:
We will be holding our family reunion at the beautiful Bear Lake Resort area.

3rd - Date:
Father’s Day Weekend, June 17th - 20th, 2011.

4th - Communication
We have created this blog as a means of communication. We hope this will help keep the secret from the

siblings. :o) You may also speak to your respective committee members at any time as well.

We know this is going to be one of the biggest and best events our family has EVER had and we're very
excited! We would like to get more information from each of you to ensure the best accommodations and
event for everyone. Please take a few moments to respond to the questions below.

Questionnaire:
Will you be attending?
How many in your family?
How old are all the members of your family?
Will you need a room or will you be staying at the KOA?
If at the KOA will you be using a tent or RV?
Do you have any suggestions for activities?
Where are you willing to help?
What job are you willing to do?
Do you have any suggestions for fund raising?
Do you have a canopy, chairs or tables to share?
Do you have catering supplies available to use?
Are you able to purchase food at a discount?
Do you have games available for kids - volleyball net, horse shoes, etc.?
Would you be interesting in doing a family cookbook?
Do you have any good recipes to send in for the cookbook?
Do you have a special talent, or business that you'd like to share, or donate items for an auction?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We appreciate your willingness to help and hope you will be available to attend! If not, we hope you will
keep our secret, and perhaps you would be able and willing to lend your support in other ways, or even
assist another family so they can go. Every little bit helps.

Thank you so much,

Family Reunion Committee Members:
